Ohio Emergency Bulletin 2010-02 – Effective June 9, 2010
The Ohio Department of Insurance has requested and Lafayette Life has agreed to
give insureds who reside in the declared state disaster areas of Wood, Ottawa and
Fulton Counties and who were affected by the severe weather and tornadoes of June
5-6, 2010 the option of deferring premium payments due, interest free, for up to
60 days from the original premium due date. Because there is a limit on the period
the extension is in effect, this special 60 day extension will not apply to premiums
which become due on or after July 13, 2010. As to such premiums, the grace period
provisions of the policy shall apply.
