James R. Dalton, CLU Regional Sales Vice President The Lafayette Life Insurance Company Jim works with General Agents in Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Wisconsin, Iowa and Minnesota.

Jim began his insurance career with the Prudential Insurance Company after his discharge from the U.S. Marine Corps in Quantico Virginia. An insurance professional since 1968, Jim received his CLU designation in 1982. His career includes service with the A.M. Best Company, College Life Insurance, and Inter Ocean Insurance, then a division of the Cincinnati Financial Corp. He has completed the Life Insurance Marketing Research Association Field Officers School and Agency Development Courses, the Purdue University Marketing Institute Seminars, and is Past LUTC Chairman for the Northern Virginia Life Underwriters Association. Jim started with Lafayette Life in 1986 and has served as Agency Vice President. Jim has had one of the top performing regions during his tenure with Lafayette Life. He and his wife, Jan, live in Carmel, Indiana.
