Craig is a proven general-agent recruiter and is known to provide his agent customers value added support. Craig has extensive experience as a sales leader in the life-insurance industry, and subject-matter expertise in life-insurance sales concepts, as well as a thorough understanding of life and annuity product types. Craig most recently was a Regional Officer with Penn Mutual.
Craig joined Lafayette Life in August 2016. He has an associate degree in mathematics and science from Fulton Montgomery College. He received his CLU from the American College and has the CFP Certification from the College of Financial Planning.
Craig resides in El Dorado Hills, California with his wife Carolyn. They have one daughter and one granddaughter.
Before beginning his career with Lafayette Life in 2013, Corey was a Regional Officer at Illinois Mutual Life for 17 years. During his time at Illinois Mutual, Corey was responsible for recruiting, developing marketing plans and motivating General Agents and advisors to sell whole life insurance while offering the best service and support. Corey holds a degree in Business from Furman University in Greenville, SC, and received his CLU from the American College in 2004.
Corey resides in Flower Mound, TX with his wife Molly and their four children.
Perry earned his BS and MBA from Northwest Missouri State University.
He began his insurance career in 1982 as an agent for John Hancock, where he held positions as agent, manager and detached agency manager. Perry then joined Ameritas in Arlington TX where he served as Agency Manager for five years. In 1996 Perry began working for Security Life of Denver/ING where he held positions as Sr. Advanced Sales Consultant and Director of Marketing Operations for the national sales team. Perry then returned to the field as an agent and sales manager for Denver Mass Mutual.
John O’Keefe joined Lafayette Life as Regional Sales Vice President in May, 2017. John is a proven general-agent recruiter and is known to provide his agent customers high-touch and value-added support.
John has extensive experience as a sales leader in the life-insurance industry, subject-matter expertise in sales concepts, and a thorough understanding of life and annuity products. John most recently was a Regional Sales Manager with Assurity Life.
John holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. John and his wife, Debbie, reside in Lincoln, Nebraska. They have eight children.
John started his career with Western & Southern Financial Group in 1988 and has held a variety of sales related positions throughout his tenure. John joined the Lafayette Life Insurance Company in 2012 as a Senior Distribution Support Specialist, and quickly established himself as a subject matter expert. In September 2016, he was promoted to the position of Regional Sales Vice President.
John and his wife Carol live in the greater Cincinnati area and enjoy spending time with family and a variety of sports related activities.
Terry Cook joined Lafayette Life in August, 2015, as VP of National Recruiting. Beginning in May, 2017, Terry assumed the role of Regional Sales VP for region 7.
Terry is a veteran of the industry for over 30 years, having worked with Ohio National, Beneficial Life and Mutual Trust, among other companies. He has a strong knowledge of the industry and whole life insurance, our core selling systems (LEAP and MoneyTrax), and brings to us a wealth of industry knowledge and experience. Terry and his wife Anita reside in Ft. Mill, South Carolina.
George Tracy earned his BA in Political Science and an MBA in Insurance from Syracuse University. He holds an FINRA Series 6 License as well as a Life License. George began his insurance career with Metropolitan Life as a Sales Manager in 1977. He then moved on to INA Life in Philadelphia where he served in several positions including Director Strategic Planning and Research. Later George moved on to Penn Mutual Life where he worked jointly with the Vice President of Sales to create their PPGA distribution system. This new system accounted for one half of the company life production in 1989. As National Life Product Manager of Fidelity and Guaranty Life, George achieved an 81% increase in life sales in 1999. More recently Mr. Tracy held the position of Regional Vice President for General American Life. In 2002 he doubled life sales to reach $5.9 million of premium. Before joining Lafayette Life, George was Sales Vice President for ING in Baltimore, Maryland. He built a new Mid Atlantic Region, which currently includes 38 General Agents.
Before beginning his career with Lafayette Life in 2014, Mark worked with MetLife in Massachusetts, functioned as an AGA and GA for Mass Mutual in Rhode Island, and was also a GA for National Life of Vermont (also in Massachusetts). Mark holds a deep knowledge of the sales process, as well as a thorough knowledge of whole life, advanced markets and retirement services plans.
Mark currently resides in Bristol, RI with his wife of 17 years and their two children.
As National Support Vice President for Lafayette Life, Lenny supports the company’s Regional Sales Vice Presidents and National Support Vice President - IMO Division with an array of product, sales and marketing initiatives, including but not limited to webinars, seminars and selling systems support (LEAP, MoneyTrax and Wealth & Wisdom Programs).
An insurance professional since 1979, Lenny began his career as an agent with the Connecticut Mutual Life Insurance Company where he earned his agency’s Developmental Agent of the Year Award in 1980 and 1981, and qualified for MDRT and Leaders in 1981.
Lenny has also represented the Monarch Life Insurance Company in their Disability Income Division for over seven years as a Director, and then an Assistant Vice President of Client Accounts. His responsibilities included promoting sales and coordinating education, training, and communicating product information among several large companies who private-labeled their disability income product with Monarch.
Lenny joined Lafayette Life in January 1990 and served as a Regional Sales Vice President for 12 years before moving to his current role as National Support Vice President. Lenny earned a Bachelor of Arts degree (cum laude 1969) from Marist College in Poughkeepsie, New York. His field and home experience gives him a keen insight into what constitutes successful insurance sales and marketing practices from many sides of the process.
